Background: Mary Dollins is a Midwesterner currently living and working in the land down under. She is a gardener who believes in growing heirloom varieties of vegetables, herbs, and ornamental plants, specifically ones local to her home state of Missouri. Mary has a degree in Religious Studies and has worked in the non-profit field, but she is most content in the garden, growing veggies and herbs. When she returns to the U.S., Mary plans to start an urban farm and write about her experiences.

Current Projects: Kayaking in Sydney Harbour, reading books about urban farming, trying to grow vegetables in a country where literally everything can kill you.
