Use heirloom melons, such as the ‘Sweet Passion’ melon, ‘Golden Beauty Casaba’ melon, ‘Tam Dew’ honeydew, and ‘Ali Baba’ watermelon for a great tasting, beautiful arrangement.
Ingredients
- 4 cups melon chunks or balls
- 4 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon or lime zest
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
Directions
- Place 1 cup of melon in four serving dishes.
- Whisk together the citrus juice and zest, honey, mint, and cardamom until smooth. Divide evenly over dishes of melon and gently toss to coat.
- Serve chilled with a garnish of mint leaves.
