JANUARY 3. The Quadrantid meteor shower peaks tonight.
JANUARY 31. Because it’s the second full moon in January, this full “supermoon” is also a “Blue Moon,” although much of the western United States will enjoy watching it turn a shade of red as it becomes obscured in a total lunar eclipse.
